Smart temperature control x traditional charcoal roasting: how Teagraphy carries one fine roast into

Three generations, and the reason we still roast

In an era when many tea brands have moved to electric roasters, we at Teagraphy still hold to the traditional craft of slow roasting over a gentle longan charcoal fire. That is not only stubbornness about technique; it is a conviction handed down through three generations. Building on more than 40 years of roasting experience at Longhui Tea House, we have combined our family's craftsmanship with modern technology to develop a smart roasting system of our own - so that the aroma of charcoal-roasted tea is no longer only a memory, but something we can reproduce reliably and take to the world.

Technology carrying tradition, protecting the true flavour

Traditional charcoal roasting runs on experience and patience: every stove needs someone to check the temperature, turn the leaf and manage the fire, and a single basket takes more than ten hours of a tea maker's undivided attention. To keep the essence of that craft while improving consistency and efficiency, we developed a smart roasting system with a technical team. Bluetooth temperature sensors and cooling valves, together with remote temperature control from a phone app, let us monitor and adjust the roast precisely.

The system frees the tea maker from the grind of constant temperature checks, while recording a complete temperature history for every batch. That data is what lets us refine the process and hold quality steady, so Nantou's charcoal-roasted character carries on and can meet international standards with confidence.

Data-driven, and a craft that keeps developing

Charcoal roasting used to rest almost entirely on an old master's feel and experience, and a moment's inattention could change the flavour. Now our smart roasting system records the small differences between seasons, varieties and fire levels one by one, building a database of our own. That record is not only a reference standard for making tea; it lifts roasting from a matter of feel into a craft that can be taught, handed on and developed further - keeping the craftsman's spirit while leaving room for innovation.

Going digital, and connecting that fragrance to the world

Teagraphy has pushed hard on digital transformation and keeps refining the customer experience. To answer the question "where do I buy good tea?", we have made ordering simple —— through our website (https://teagraphy.co/) or via LINE@. Every pack carries a QR code that brings up its SGS test report, so the whole purchase is transparent and reassuring, and the brand is easier to trust and to find.

Choosing both tradition and innovation

Holding to slow roasting over longan charcoal is our promise about what the flavour really is, and it is what Teagraphy stands for. We believe innovation only means something if the soul of the tea is kept intact. With a smart system and digital marketing, the conviction of three generations of roasters is travelling from the tea country of Nantou out into the world - working the home market hard, and drawing interest from several countries besides. This fragrance has carried from the stove to the cloud, and from the past into what comes next.
