Product description

  • Highest Gold Award, World Green Tea Association of Japan 2021 tea evaluation

  • Red oolong is a distinctive tea that combines oolong and black tea processing, and carries the highest degree of oxidation of any oolong made today.

  • Liquor: orange-red, bright, clear and glossy

  • Bright and clear, with the colour and aroma of a black tea-yet on the palate it is all the mellow sweetness of oolong.

  • Round and full on entry, lively, faintly astringent, then turning full, fresh and sweet with a salivating finish.

  • Roasted over longan charcoal, with no more than 6 kg to a basket and the roasting master keeping watch for the full 3 to 10 hours-all for one good basket of tea.

  • Charcoal roasting lowers the caffeine, leaving a mellower liquor that is gentler on the system.

  • The fragrance left in the bottom of the cup takes on the sweetness of longan charcoal, so it reads clearer, longer and more natural

  • Brewing guide:

    • Water temperature: 95°C~100°C

    • Water volume: 300 ml

    • Steeping time: 6-7 minutes
